Arriving

Pathfinders Camp will start on SUNDAY, with:

HELPERS arrive by 10:00 am at the latest Please bring a packed lunch with you.

CAMPERS arrive between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm You MUST NOT arrive early (we won’t be ready for you) and you MUST have eaten your lunch before you arrive.

The gap between helpers arriving and campers arriving means we can:

  • provide some focussed training for helpers
  • helpers will be available for care plan handover when campers arrive.

On arrival please introduce yourself to the Camp Leader, Sam. She will be sitting at the “Information Table” with Jo, the Treasurer. They will provide you with some introductory details of the helper/camper you will be buddied with, give you a book with some information about the week, and tie in any loose ends to do with forms or camp fees. You will also get a name tag and patrol colour so you can easily find your new friends in your team. All campers with medications will need to report to the camp healthcare team, to hand in their medications and make sure all our care plans are correct. You will find them in the healthcare room in Bradbury Croft.
